Healthcare Provider Course (BLS)

The AHA’s new BLS Course was updated to include science and education from the 2015 Guidelines.

It teaches both single-rescuer and team base basic life support skills for application in both pre-hospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

Students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations in the instructor-led course. In addition, students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and testing. Students also complete a written exam; class time varies depending on the number of students.

The recommended renewal is every two years.

Cost: $65 per student
